Locality

The Fairholme apartments are situated right on the waterfront of the beautiful, azure entry to Wallis Lake. The water views are spectacular. Watch the dolphins and pelicans from the lounge room, or step across the road and throw in a line and catch some fish for dinner.

Restaurants and shops are just a few minutes walk away.

Located only 3 ½ hours north of Sydney, API Leisure & Lifestyle's Fairholme apartments are the perfect escape for a weekend away or a leisurely break over a week or two. It's a popular facility as it is close to shops and restaurants, and is a wonderful spot for fishermen and sight-seers. Fishermen have a choice of river, deep sea, lake or beach fishing.

Alternatively, you can hire a tinny and explore the clear waters and oyster leases of Wallis Lake. Dolphin cruises, sail-boarding and scuba-diving are among the activities that attract large numbers of holiday visitors to the area, and the town's own ocean beach is well renowned for its quality.

The Booti Booti National Park is just south of the town. There is a plethora of attractions and activities nearby including quality golf courses, two fun parks, lawn bowls, ten-pin bowling, great restaurants, a car museum, art galleries, horse-riding trails, Australia's only Amish store and many more.

What guests are saying

"The location is fantastic - could walk to most parts of both Tuncurry and Forster. It was a lovely walk to the Rock Pool (swimming beach) and the adjacent cafe, which had great coffee and the best sweet potato fries."

"Needed a not too expensive break and this one fits the bill."

"We will never forget the red sunsets over the water."

"The water is impossibly blue when the sun is shining. I sit in the lounge just staring at it for hours. It's so relaxing."
