It is just a very short stroll to the Hobart waterfront, Salamanca Place and the Hobart CBD. A five minute walk will take you to Constitution Wharf from where the award-winning sight-seeing cruises now set off, and whaling fleets departed in years gone by.
Situated on the corner of Hampden Road, famous for its supply of cafes, restaurants, arts and culture, there are so many tempting opportunities right on your doorstep. Of course, you may also prepare your own meals in the fully equipped kitchen, where the dishwasher takes care of the washing up!
The open plan lounge/dining area will make you feel right at home. You can plan your next day's activities using the fast, free and unlimited internet, while relaxing on the leather lounges, or chatting on the small balcony off the living room.
The master bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and the second bedroom has two single beds, so the unit easily accommodates families or two couples travelling together.
An off-street parking space caters for your vehicle while you explore the delights of Hobart on foot. However, as this is also an ideal base from which to explore all the delightful sights of southern Tasmania, it is nice to know you have a safe place to park it until it is needed.
No trip to Hobart is complete without sampling the Salamanca markets, held every Saturday, although it is best to get in early to avoid the crowds. You will be in poll position as it is just a three minute walk to the artefact stalls and aromas of brunch being prepared.
